Who Should Consider This Processor?
This processor is intended for workstation builds where the software and workload can make use of high core counts, such as CPU rendering, engineering simulation, compilation or other heavily threaded professional tasks. The best choice depends on the applications being used; core count alone does not predict performance in every program.
For general-purpose office PCs or gaming-focused systems, a workstation platform may be unnecessary. Confirm your software requirements and total platform budget before choosing this class of CPU.
