Magnetic Switch and Rapid Trigger Technology

The MK922 uses magnetic switches that detect keypress depth via magnetic field changes rather than physical contact. This enables 0.01mm actuation accuracy and Rapid Trigger—a feature that dynamically adjusts trigger and reset points based on your input, allowing faster repeated keystrokes. The switches support advanced functions including Dynamic Keystroke (DKS) for binding up to four actions per key based on press depth, Multi-Point Trigger (MPT) for three functions at different depths, and SOCD for smart directional input handling. These functions are configured through the web-based driver.

📐 Connectivity and Battery

Tri-mode connectivity allows switching between wired USB-C, 2.4GHz wireless via included dongle, and Bluetooth 5.0. Wired mode delivers the full 8000Hz polling rate, while wireless modes operate at 1000Hz. The 3750mAh Li-Po battery provides up to 42 hours with LED off and up to 25 hours with RGB active. The wireless range is approximately 10 meters. Charging takes approximately 6 hours via USB-C.

🔧 Customization and Setup

The MK922 uses a web-based driver—no software installation required. Connect the keyboard, open your browser, and navigate to the Fantech driver page to customize key mappings, macros, lighting effects, and advanced magnetic switch functions. The keyboard includes 19 RGB lighting modes, adjustable brightness and speed, and per-key customization. For Bluetooth pairing, hold FN + Q/W/E for 5 seconds until the LED flashes rapidly, then select the keyboard from your device’s Bluetooth menu.

For competitive gaming, use the wired USB-C connection to access the full 8000Hz polling rate and 32K scan rate for the lowest possible input latency. Enable Rapid Trigger in the web-based driver and adjust the actuation point (0.1–3.4mm) to match your playstyle—shorter travel for faster response in FPS games, or longer for typing accuracy. Configure advanced magnetic functions like DKS and SOCD only for games that permit them, as some competitive titles may restrict these features. For multi-device setups, pair via Bluetooth using FN + Q/W/E (hold 5 seconds), and use the 2.4GHz dongle for a low-latency wireless connection on your primary gaming rig. Check battery level with FN + Enter before long wireless sessions; the 3750mAh battery delivers up to 42 hours with RGB off. Clean the PBT keycaps periodically with a soft, dry cloth to maintain texture and appearance.
