Reverse Blade vs Standard Blade

Reverse blade fans are designed for intake configurations where you want the fan’s front face (with its lighting and aesthetic) visible from inside the case. Standard blade fans push air through the back, making the rear visible. In a typical PC build, side-mounted fans on cases like the O11 Dynamic are intake, so reverse blade fans let you show the infinity mirror side while still pulling air into the case. Choose reverse blade when the visible side of your fan should be the intake side.

🔧 Control Modes and Setup

The UNI Fan SL Flex supports two control modes: L-Connect 3 via L-Wireless (2.4GHz) and motherboard sync via 4-pin PWM and 5V 3-pin ARGB cables. Use L-Connect 3 to access custom device naming, fan grouping, fan curves, and advanced lighting effects. When the wireless receiver is connected and bound in L-Connect 3, users can freely switch between motherboard sync and L-Wireless lighting control. Motherboard sync can be used without L-Connect 3 for a simpler setup.

📐 Fan Grouping and Expansion

Each FLEX Receiver supports up to 4 matching UNI Fan SL Flex fans for simple and organized fan group expansion. For optimal RPM accuracy, group fans with the same blade orientation on each receiver. The included FLEX Receiver and L-Wireless Controller manage power and control. Daisy-chain the fans to reduce cable clutter, and use the included cables for power delivery and ARGB sync.

For the cleanest build, use the daisy-chain design to connect multiple UNI Fan SL Flex fans together. Connect the FLEX Receiver for power and control, and use the included 5V 3-pin ARGB cable for motherboard sync if you prefer not to use L-Connect 3. If you want advanced control, install L-Connect 3 and bind the L-Wireless Controller (available separately or in multi-pack) to access custom device naming, fan grouping, fan curves, and lighting effects. Reverse blade fans are ideal for side-mounted intake positions where the front face is visible—this lets you show the dual-sided infinity mirror and ARGB zones while pulling air into the case. Group fans with the same blade orientation on each FLEX Receiver for optimal RPM accuracy. For quiet operation, set fan curves to keep speeds below 1500 RPM under typical loads, or use the 0 RPM mode for silent operation at low temperatures.
