Noctua NH-L9i 17xx chromax.black Air CPU Cooler

The Noctua NH-L9i 17xx chromax.black is a highly compact and quiet low-profile CPU cooler, meticulously designed for small form factor (SFF) cases and HTPC environments. This all-black chromax.black version combines Noctua’s renowned cooling performance with a sleek, stealthy aesthetic. While it provides first-rate performance in its class, it is optimized for CPUs that do not create high heat loads and is not suitable for overclocking. Therefore, it is an ideal solution for silent, space-constrained builds where aesthetics and quiet operation are paramount.

Exceptional Low-Profile Cooling:

Experience superior cooling in compact spaces with the Noctua NH-L9i 17xx chromax.black. This cooler is engineered for optimal performance in systems with limited clearance. It effectively dissipates heat from your CPU, ensuring stable operation even in confined environments. Consequently, your system remains cool and quiet without compromising on performance.

Ultra-Compact Design for SFF Builds:

The NH-L9i 17xx boasts an incredibly low profile, standing at just 37mm (with fan) and measuring 95x95mm. This makes it a perfect fit for ultra-compact HTPC and Small Form Factor (SFF) cases where traditional CPU coolers would not fit. Its compact dimensions ensure maximum compatibility with slim chassis, allowing you to build powerful systems in tiny footprints without thermal concerns.

Optimized for LGA1851 and LGA1700 Sockets:

This cooler is specifically designed for Intel’s LGA1851 and LGA1700 sockets. It provides excellent contact and efficient heat transfer for compatible Intel Core processors. The precise mounting ensures optimal thermal performance. However, it is crucial to consult Noctua’s CPU compatibility list to confirm suitability for your specific CPU, especially for high-TDP models, as it is not intended for heavy overclocking.

Premium Fan and Whisper-Quiet Operation:

The Noctua NH-L9i 17xx chromax.black features a high-quality fan engineered for both performance and silence. Its advanced bearing system ensures superior longevity and quiet operation. Furthermore, the included Low-Noise Adaptor allows for even quieter performance, making it an excellent choice for noise-sensitive environments.

NF-A9x14 HS-PWM chromax.black Fan:

The cooler is paired with the NF-A9x14 HS-PWM chromax.black premium fan. This 92x92x14mm fan features Noctua’s advanced SSO2 bearing for superior long-term stability and quiet operation. It offers a maximum rotational speed of 2500 RPM, delivering an airflow of 57.5 m³/h. Despite this performance, its maximum acoustical noise is only 23.6 dB(A), ensuring a very quiet operation.

Low-Noise Adaptor for Enhanced Silence:

For users prioritizing absolute silence, the included NA-RC7 Low-Noise Adaptor (L.N.A) can be used. When activated, it reduces the fan’s maximum rotational speed to 1800 RPM and the airflow to 40.8 m³/h. Consequently, the acoustical noise level drops significantly to a mere 14.8 dB(A). This makes the NH-L9i-17xx chromax.black one of the quietest coolers in its class, perfect for HTPCs and silent builds.

Durable Construction and Easy Installation:

The Noctua NH-L9i 17xx chromax.black is built with premium materials for exceptional durability and long-term reliability. Its robust construction ensures consistent performance over time. Furthermore, the included SecuFirm2™ mounting kit simplifies installation, making the setup process quick and hassle-free for users.

Premium Materials for Longevity:

The heatsink is constructed from high-quality copper for the base and heat-pipes, ensuring excellent thermal conductivity. The cooling fins are made from aluminum, providing efficient heat dissipation. All joints are soldered, and the entire cooler is nickel-plated, enhancing durability and corrosion resistance. These premium materials contribute to an impressive MTTF (Mean Time To Failure) exceeding 150,000 hours, backed by a 6-year manufacturer’s warranty.

Secure and Simple SecuFirm2™ Mounting:

The NH-L9i 17xx chromax.black comes with the renowned SecuFirm2™ mounting system. This kit is specifically designed for LGA1851 and LGA1700 sockets, ensuring a secure and straightforward installation process. The included black screws for 92x92x25mm fans allow for easy fan replacement if desired. The user-friendly design makes it accessible even for novice builders.
