Noctua NH-L9i chromax.black Air CPU Cooler

The Noctua NH-L9i chromax.black Air CPU Cooler is an ultra-compact, low-profile cooling solution designed for small form factor (SFF) cases and HTPC environments. It offers first-rate performance in its class, combining quiet operation with effective cooling for compatible Intel LGA115x/1200 CPUs, all in a sleek black finish.

Ultra-Compact Design for Space-Restricted Builds:

Extremely Low 37mm Profile:

The NH-L9i chromax.black boasts an extremely low profile of just 37mm (including the fan). This makes it ideal for highly compact HTPCs and Small Form Factor (SFF) cases where traditional CPU coolers would not fit. Its diminutive size ensures maximum compatibility with tight build constraints. Consequently, it allows for powerful cooling in confined spaces.

100% RAM and PCIe Compatibility:

Thanks to its compact footprint (95x95mm), the NH-L9i chromax.black ensures 100% compatibility with RAM modules and PCIe cards on mini-ITX motherboards. It does not overhang the RAM slots or the PCIe x16 slot, preventing interference issues. This design simplifies installation and ensures full access to all components. Therefore, you can use tall RAM heatsinks or large graphics cards without concern.

NF-A9x14 HS-PWM chromax.black Fan:

The cooler is equipped with the premium NF-A9x14 HS-PWM chromax.black fan. This highly optimized 92mm fan features PWM control for automatic speed adjustment, ranging from 600 RPM to 2500 RPM. It delivers excellent airflow (57.5 m³/h) while maintaining quiet operation, with noise levels as low as 23.6 dB(A). Furthermore, a Low-Noise Adaptor (L.N.A.) is included to reduce the maximum speed to 1800 RPM for even quieter performance.

Premium Build Quality and Easy Installation:

Chromax.black Aesthetic and Premium Materials:

The NH-L9i chromax.black features an all-black design, including a black-coated heatsink and a matching chromax.black fan. This sleek aesthetic blends seamlessly into various PC builds. The cooler is constructed from high-quality materials: a copper base and heat-pipes, aluminum cooling fins, and soldered joints with nickel plating. This ensures efficient heat transfer and long-term durability.

SecuFirm2™ Mounting System:

The cooler utilizes the renowned SecuFirm2™ mounting system, known for its reliability and ease of use. This custom-designed mounting kit ensures a perfect contact pressure and simple installation on Intel LGA1150, LGA1151, LGA1155, LGA1156, and LGA1200 sockets. An optional NM-AM4-L9aL9i kit is available for AMD AM4 compatibility. Therefore, installation is straightforward and secure.

SSO2 Bearing and NT-H1 Thermal Compound:

The NF-A9x14 fan employs Noctua’s highly acclaimed SSO2 bearing, an optimized second-generation self-stabilizing oil-pressure bearing. This ensures exceptional long-term stability and a lifespan of over 150,000 hours. The cooler also includes a tube of Noctua’s NT-H1 high-grade thermal compound, providing excellent thermal conductivity for optimal performance from the start. Consequently, you get a reliable and long-lasting cooling solution.
