Sabrent TH-3WEA Thunderbolt 3 to 10Gbps Ethernet Adapter

Sabrent TH-3WEA Thunderbolt 3 to 10Gbps Ethernet Adapter

The Sabrent TH-3WEA adds a 10GbE RJ45 network connection to a compatible Thunderbolt 3 computer. It supports 10Gbps, 5Gbps, 2.5Gbps, 1Gbps, 100Mbps and 10Mbps Ethernet networks, depending on the connected network equipment and cabling.

Key features

• Thunderbolt 3 host connection; not compatible with a standard USB-C-only port.
• RJ45 Ethernet port supporting up to 10Gbps.
• Backward compatibility with 5GbE, 2.5GbE, 1GbE, 100Mbps and 10Mbps networks.
• Aluminum casing with protective rubber bumper.
• Bus-powered, so no separate power adapter is required.
• Includes a Thunderbolt 3 cable and user manual, according to the manufacturer.

Compatibility checklist

Confirm your computer has Thunderbolt 3 and that your router or switch, Ethernet cable and network configuration support the speed you expect. Actual throughput depends on the full network path. Sabrent notes compatibility with Apple M-series Macs but says the adapter is not optimized for them.
