Overview

The Intel High Performance Heatspreader V1 is a premium upgrade heatspreader designed to replace the stock Integrated Loading Mechanism (ILM) and heatspreader on select Intel processors. Made from nickel-plated copper and featuring a 207% larger, diamond-milled precision surface , this heatspreader maximizes heat dissipation for both air and water cooling solutions. Its ultra-smooth surface ensures optimal contact with the CPU cooler, improving thermal performance.

---

Key Features

• Upgraded Design : Replaces the stock ILM and heatspreader for enhanced cooling performance.
• Surface Area : 207% larger surface area compared to the original heatspreader, enabling superior heat transfer.
• Material : Constructed from nickel-plated copper , combining excellent thermal conductivity with corrosion resistance.
• Precision Surface : Diamond-milled for extremely low surface roughness, ensuring optimal contact with the CPU cooler.
• Compatibility : Works seamlessly with both air coolers and water coolers .

المواصفات الفنية

• Material : Nickel-plated copper
• Surface Finish : Diamond-milled precision surface
• Surface Area Increase : 207% larger than the stock heatspreader
• Thermal Interface Compatibility : Compatible with traditional thermal pastes and gallium-based liquid metals
• Nickel Barrier Layer : Prevents liquid metal diffusion into the copper, minimizing alloy formation and reducing the need for frequent reapplication.

---

Compatibility

• Supported Processors :
  • Intel 12th Gen CPUs
  • Intel 13th Gen CPUs
  • Intel 14th Gen CPUs
• Important Note : The heatspreader is only compatible with delidded CPUs . Delidding your CPU will void the manufacturer’s warranty.

---

Scope of Delivery

• 1x Intel High Performance Heatspreader V1
• 4x Pan-head screws (UNC thread 3/8″)
• 1x Hexagon socket wrench (5/64″)
• 1x Angle wrench (Torx T20)

---

Benefits

• Improved Cooling Efficiency : The 207% larger surface area and precision-milled finish ensure maximum heat dissipation, lowering CPU temperatures during demanding tasks.
• Versatility : Compatible with both air and water cooling systems, making it suitable for a wide range of builds.
• Liquid Metal Support : The nickel-plated surface acts as a barrier layer, preventing gallium-based liquid metals from diffusing into the copper and maintaining long-term stability.

---

Important Notes on Usage

• KryoSheet and Thermal Pads :
  • Testing has shown that using thermal pads (e.g., KryoSheet) in combination with the heatspreader does not provide significant temperature improvements and can negatively affect contact pressure.
  • For optimal results, use high-quality thermal paste or liquid metal instead of thermal pads.
• Mono Blocks :
  • When using mono blocks for motherboards, adjustments to mounting height and thermal pads may be necessary. Ensure proper contact between the heatspreader and the mono block.
  • For assistance, contact Thermal Grizzly support .
