Thermal Grizzly AMD Ryzen 7000 V2 Direct Die Frame SPECIFICATIONS:
- Color: Black
- Material: Aluminum
- Socket Manufacturer: AMD
- Socket Type: AM5
Overview
The Ryzen 7000 Direct Die Frame V2 (DDFV2) is a specialized CPU mounting frame designed for AMD Ryzen 7000 series processors, including the X3D variants. This updated version ensures compatibility with both standard Ryzen 7000 CPUs and the newer Ryzen 7000X3D processors by accommodating additional bonding points introduced on X3D chips. The DDFV2 allows users to mount delidded CPUs without the integrated heatspreader (IHS) or the Socket Actuation Mechanism (SAM), enabling direct-die cooling for improved thermal performance.
Key Features
- Compatibility : Designed specifically for AMD Ryzen 7000 & 7000X3D processors , including non-X3D models.
- Purpose : Enables mounting of delidded Ryzen CPUs for direct-die cooling solutions.
- Replacement : Replaces the Socket Actuation Mechanism (SAM) for secure installation of delidded CPUs.
- Material : Constructed from anodized aluminum , ensuring durability and corrosion resistance.
- Ease of Use : Simplifies the mounting process for delidded CPUs with included tools and hardware.
