Is the Roadster really a flying car?

At its October 15, 2026 reveal, Tesla demonstrated a Roadster using a fan-based suction system and cold-gas thrusters for dramatic, brief airborne manoeuvres. It is an extraordinary demonstration—but it should not be confused with a conventional aircraft or proof that every feature will ship on every production configuration.

What would it cost in Egypt?

Do not mistake a reservation deposit for the final vehicle price. On Tesla’s UK reservation page, Performance shows £5,000 due today and £45,000 due within 10 days; Thrust shows £5,000 due today and £245,000 due within 10 days. These are reservation payments (£50,000 for Performance and £250,000 for Thrust), not confirmed final vehicle prices or an Egypt retail quote from Alfrensia. Terms, availability and final pricing can vary by region and configuration. Import costs, taxes, homologation and local support can also affect any eventual Egyptian-market estimate.

News coverage has reported a 2028 production target, but a target is not a delivery guarantee. The vehicle’s final specifications and timing still need to be confirmed as the programme develops.

How big is the new Roadster?

Tesla has not published a complete, verified production dimension sheet for the newly revealed Roadster in the material we could confirm. We therefore won’t invent its length, width, height or wheelbase, or draw a scale diagram with guessed measurements.
