💡 Pro Tip: To get the absolute maximum frame rates in games, ensure the “Ultimate” mode is selected in ASUS Armoury Crate, which enables the MUX Switch and pushes the GPU to the full 100W. Keep the 512GB SSD strictly for your OS and daily apps, and use the second empty M.2 slot to add a high-capacity 1TB or 2TB NVMe drive specifically for your game library.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I upgrade the RAM on the ASUS TUF Gaming A14 FA401UU?
No, the 16GB of LPDDR5X memory is soldered directly onto the motherboard to maintain the ultra-thin 1.69cm profile and low power consumption. However, you can easily upgrade the storage using the second empty M.2 PCIe slot.
Is the 100W RTX 4050 significantly better than lower-wattage versions?
Yes, absolutely. Many 14-inch laptops limit the RTX 4050 to 45W-60W. By allowing a 100W power draw (75W base + 25W Dynamic Boost), the TUF A14 achieves much higher sustained clock speeds, resulting in noticeably better FPS in demanding games.
Where can I buy the ASUS TUF Gaming A14 FA401UU in Egypt with a warranty?
You can purchase the original ASUS TUF Gaming A14 Jaeger Gray with an official local warranty, VAT invoice, and fast Cairo-wide delivery directly from Alfrensia, an authorized ASUS partner.
