Caramel Latte Switch: Heavier Linear Feel
The Caramel Latte switch is a linear mechanical switch with a 55g actuation force and 2.0mm pre-travel [citation:7][citation:12]. Compared to lighter linear switches, it requires slightly more force to actuate, which can reduce accidental keystrokes during typing or gaming. The switch is pre-lubricated at the factory, so the keystroke is smooth from the first use. Because the total travel is 3.6mm, the switch bottoms out with a firm but not harsh feel. This makes the Caramel Latte switch a good fit for users who prefer a more deliberate, controlled typing experience.
Full-Size Layout with Smart Controls
The F108 Pro keeps the full 108-key layout, so the numpad and dedicated function keys remain available for data entry, programming, and gaming [citation:2]. The 1.14-inch TFT display sits at the top-right corner and shows connection mode, battery level, date, and time [citation:15]. Using the AULA driver on a Windows system, you can replace the default screens with custom GIF images [citation:15]. The multi-function knob sits beside the display. By default, it controls volume. However, you can cycle through other functions such as backlight adjustment, connection mode switching, and screen navigation by pressing FN and the knob simultaneously [citation:2].
Gasket Mount and Five-Layer Sound Dampening
The F108 Pro uses a gasket mount design. The PCB and plate are isolated from the case by silicone gaskets, which reduces vibration and produces a softer, more consistent keystroke [citation:1][citation:6]. Five layers of internal foam absorb resonance and cavity noise. These layers are PO sandwich foam, PO switch pad, PET sound-enhancement pad, PO bottom foam, and a bottom silicone pad [citation:1][citation:6]. As a result, the typing sound is described as creamy and controlled rather than hollow. This design also reduces noise levels, which makes the keyboard suitable for office environments or shared spaces [citation:4].
Who is the AULA F108 Pro For?
Expert Advice & Build Considerations
Driver Requires Windows and Wired Mode
Custom GIF uploads, macro programming, and date/time calibration require the AULA driver software. The driver only supports Windows systems and requires a wired USB-C connection [citation:15]. Basic functions such as volume control, lighting mode cycling, and connection switching work without software.
Caramel Latte Switch Weight Considerations
Because the Caramel Latte switch has a 55g actuation force, it requires more effort per keystroke than lighter linear switches. Users accustomed to 40g or 45g switches may find it fatiguing for very long typing sessions. However, the heavier weight also reduces accidental keystrokes, which can be an advantage for gaming or precise data entry.
📐 Charging and Battery Care
Use the included USB-C cable and connect to a computer for charging. Avoid fast-charging adapters, because they may damage the charging circuit. To extend battery life, lower the backlight brightness or turn off lighting effects when running wirelessly. The 8000mAh battery is rated for up to 76 hours with the screen at full brightness, and longer with the screen off [citation:6][citation:10].

Expert Recommendation: Getting the Most from Your F108 Pro
Before using the keyboard wirelessly, charge it fully using the included USB-C cable connected to a computer. Avoid fast-charging adapters, because they may damage the charging circuit. For gaming, switch to 2.4GHz mode with the included receiver for the lowest latency. Use Bluetooth mode for tablets and phones, where the 125Hz polling rate is sufficient and battery life is longer. To customize the TFT display with GIF images, connect via USB-C and use the AULA driver on a Windows system [citation:15]. The knob defaults to volume control; press FN + knob to cycle through lighting adjustment, language, and mode switching. If you plan to swap switches, the hot-swap sockets accept both 3-pin and 5-pin types. Because the Caramel Latte switch is heavier than typical linear switches, take a few days to adjust if you are coming from lighter switches. Use the two-stage kickstand to adjust the typing angle for comfort during long sessions. Keep the original packaging if possible, since the keyboard weighs 1.2 kg and benefits from padded storage during transport.
Frequently Asked Questions
How do I customize the TFT display on the F108 Pro?
Connect the keyboard via USB-C and use the AULA driver on a Windows system to upload custom GIF images or adjust the display settings. The driver also allows you to calibrate the date and time. Wireless modes do not support display customization [citation:15].
What are the Caramel Latte switch specifications?
The Caramel Latte switch is a linear mechanical switch with a 55g actuation force, 2.0mm pre-travel, and 3.6mm total travel. It is pre-lubricated at the factory for a smooth keystroke [citation:7][citation:12].
Can I use this keyboard with a Mac?
Yes. The F108 Pro supports Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android. You can switch systems using the knob menu or keyboard shortcuts. Note that the driver software only runs on Windows in wired mode [citation:15].
How long does the 8000mAh battery last?
