Tri-Mode Connectivity: Switch Between Devices in Seconds
One of the F108’s biggest strengths is its triple connection support. The keyboard works over Bluetooth 5.0, 2.4GHz wireless with the bundled receiver, or USB-C wired. Because it supports all three modes, you can pair it with a laptop over Bluetooth, connect it to a desktop over 2.4GHz for lower latency, and use USB-C wired when you want to charge and type simultaneously. Switching between devices is seamless, and the keyboard remembers paired connections so you do not need to re-pair each time.
Battery Life: Long-Lasting 4000mAh Capacity
The built-in 4000mAh lithium battery provides strong endurance for wireless users. In real-world testing, the keyboard lasts up to 30+ days with RGB off, around 60 hours at medium RGB brightness, and around 30 hours in dynamic RGB mode. When the battery runs low, the keyboard continues to work while charging over USB-C. This makes the F108 practical for users who switch between wireless and wired depending on workload or desk setup.
Gasket Mount and Typing Feel
The F108 uses a gasket mount structure, where silicone gaskets suspend the plate and PCB inside the case. Because the plate is not screwed directly to the case, the typing feel is softer and more consistent than a stiff tray-mount keyboard. This also reduces vibration and cavity noise, which produces a quieter, more controlled sound. The PBT keycaps add durability and resist shine better than ABS, so the legends and surface texture hold up over time.
Wind Spirit Switches and Side-Printed Keycaps
This variant ships with AULA Wind Spirit switches, which are factory-installed mechanical switches tuned for a balanced feel across typing and gaming. The keycaps use a side-printed design, with the legends on the front edge facing the user. Because the top surface is free of printing, the keycaps have a cleaner look, and the legends remain readable with the RGB backlighting shining through. The gradient gray colorway adds a subtle transition across the keyboard, which pairs well with the black case.
Who is the AULA F108 For?
Expert Advice & Build Considerations
Charging and Battery Care
Use the included USB-C cable and connect to a computer for charging. Avoid fast-charging adapters, because they may damage the charging circuit. To extend battery life, lower the RGB brightness or turn off lighting when running wirelessly. The 4000mAh battery can last 30+ days with RGB off, but battery life drops significantly with dynamic RGB effects enabled.
Driver and Software Notes
Basic functions such as volume control, lighting mode cycling, and connection switching work without software. Detailed RGB customization and macro programming require the AULA driver, which supports Windows systems and requires a wired USB-C connection.
📐 Layout and Desk Setup
The keyboard measures 445.17 x 138.89 x 41.35 mm, so ensure your desk has enough room for the full-size layout. Because the keyboard sits at a fixed angle, a wrist rest may improve comfort during long typing sessions. Route the USB-C cable or the 2.4GHz receiver away from metal surfaces and other wireless receivers to avoid interference.

Expert Recommendation: Getting the Most from Your AULA F108
Before using the keyboard wirelessly, charge it fully using the included USB-C cable connected to a computer. Avoid fast-charging adapters, because they may damage the charging circuit. For gaming, switch to 2.4GHz mode with the included receiver for the lowest latency. Use Bluetooth mode for tablets and phones, where the connection is sufficient and battery life is longer. The Wind Spirit switches provide a balanced feel, so take a few days to adjust if you are coming from a different switch type. If you want detailed RGB customization or macro programming, connect via USB-C and use the AULA driver on a Windows system. Clean the keyboard periodically with compressed air to prevent dust buildup between the keycaps and switches. Use the two-stage kickstand to adjust the typing angle for comfort during long sessions.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does the AULA F108 require software to work?
No. The keyboard is plug-and-play for typing, media controls, and basic lighting adjustment. However, to customize RGB effects in detail or program macros, you need the AULA driver, which is available as a free download from the official AULA website. The software is Windows-only.
What type of switches does this keyboard use?
This variant uses AULA Wind Spirit switches, which are factory-installed mechanical switches tuned for a balanced feel across typing and gaming. They are not hot-swappable, so replacing them requires soldering.
How long does the 4000mAh battery last?
Battery life depends on backlighting. With RGB off, the keyboard can last up to 30+ days. At medium RGB brightness, expect around 60 hours. In dynamic RGB mode, expect around 30 hours. Actual runtime depends on brightness level and connection mode.
Is this keyboard compatible with Mac?
Yes. The F108 works with Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android over Bluetooth, 2.4GHz, or USB-C. The macro and detailed RGB software is Windows-only, so advanced customization is not available on Mac.
What are side-printed keycaps?
Side-printed keycaps have the legends on the front edge facing the user instead of on the top surface. This keeps the top of the keycap clean and prevents legend wear from finger contact. The legends remain readable with the RGB backlight shining through.
