Why KUMARA K552-2

Compact TKL layout. Blue switch feel. Built to last.

The Redragon Kumara K552-2 is a tenkeyless 87-key mechanical keyboard with Blue clicky switches — the classic mechanical feel with a tactile bump and audible click, ideal for long typing sessions and users who like the feedback. The keyboard is hot-swappable with Outemu switches, so you can also fit Red or Brown switches without soldering.

It carries 100% anti-ghosting N-key rollover across all 87 keys, with 12 multimedia keys for quick control. The rainbow LED backlight offers 19 lighting effects, including 2 user-defined modes, with 6 colors and adjustable brightness and breathing speed. Construction uses a metal alloy and ABS base with plate-mounted keys, and a gold-plated USB connector for reliable connection. The compact 87-key design frees up desk space without sacrificing the keys you actually use.

Blue Clicky Switch

Tactile Bump. Audible Click.

The K552-2 ships with Blue clicky switches — the classic mechanical feel with a pronounced tactile bump on each keystroke and an audible click. Blue switches are the traditional choice for heavy typists and users who prefer positive feedback on every press. The keyboard is hot-swappable with Outemu switches, so you can also install Red linear switches for quiet gaming or Brown tactile switches for a gentler bump, without soldering.

The precision-engineered keycaps are designed for crystal-clear uniform backlighting, so legends stay readable even at low brightness levels.

Switch Options

Blue · Red · Brown — Your Choice

Because the socket is hot-swappable, the same K552 can host any of Outemu’s classic mechanical switches. Blue (clicky, tactile bump) is the traditional typist’s choice and what this listing ships with. Red (linear, quiet) is ideal for intensive gaming. Brown (soft tactile bump, moderate noise) sits between the two. Each switch is rated for 50 million keystrokes.
