About This Open Box Unit

This Razer BlackShark V2 X is an Open Box unit. That means the original packaging was opened — either by a previous customer for inspection or by our team for verification — but the headset itself has never been used. The earcups, headband, microphone, and cable show no signs of wear. All original accessories and documentation are included, and the unit is functionally identical to a brand-new headset. This is the 2022 model of the V2 X, identified by part number RZ04-03240100-R3M1 .

Razer TriForce 50mm Drivers for Immersive Audio

The BlackShark V2 X features Razer TriForce 50mm Drivers, which use a patented design that divides the driver into three parts. Because each part is tuned separately, the headset produces richer trebles, brighter midrange, and more powerful bass . With a frequency response of 12 Hz – 28 kHz, it captures a wide range of audio details, allowing you to hear subtle in-game cues and explosive sound effects with precision . The 32 Ω impedance and 100 dB sensitivity ensure optimal audio output across various devices, providing a robust sound profile for gaming and multimedia .

Razer HyperClear Cardioid Mic for Clear Communication

The headset includes the Razer HyperClear Cardioid Mic, a bendable microphone with a unidirectional pick-up pattern. Because it focuses on your voice while suppressing background noise from the sides and back, your teammates hear you clearly during critical moments . The microphone has a frequency response of 100 Hz – 10 kHz and a sensitivity of -42 dB V/Pa at 1 kHz . For added convenience, the mic mute toggle is built into the earcup, so you can mute or unmute without reaching for a cable .

Advanced Passive Noise Cancellation and Comfort

The BlackShark V2 X uses closed earcups and breathable memory foam cushions that form a tight seal around your ears. Because the seal blocks ambient noise, you can stay focused on your game without external distractions . At just 240g, the headset is ultralight and designed to reduce head and ear fatigue during long sessions . The oval ear cushions have an inner diameter of 63 mm x 43 mm, providing ample space for most ear sizes . The adjustable padded headband uses a stainless-steel wire core for durability, wrapped in plush leatherette for comfort .

Cross-Platform Compatibility and Controls

The headset connects via a 3.5mm analog jack, making it compatible with PC, Mac, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, Steam Deck, and mobile devices with a 3.5mm port . For PC users, 7.1 Surround Sound software is available for Windows 11 (or higher), providing accurate positional audio for a competitive edge . The 1.3-meter cable provides enough length for typical desk setups . On-earcup controls include volume up/down and a mic mute toggle, so you can adjust audio and mute the microphone without leaving your game .
