4.5. Availability

5.3. Contract Formation

A binding sales contract between you and Alfrensia is formed only when:

  • Alfrensia confirms the order explicitly (e.g. by email, SMS or phone), or
  • Alfrensia dispatches the products to you and sends you a dispatch/shipping confirmation.

5.6. Payment Security

All electronic payments are processed via third-party payment providers or banks that are responsible for the security of card and payment data. Alfrensia does not store full card numbers, CVV codes or other highly sensitive payment credentials, in line with data protection and payment security standards.

6. Shipping and Delivery within Egypt

6.1. Coverage

Alfrensia delivers to the Egyptian governorates supported by its logistics partners. Delivery areas, fees and approximate delivery timeframes are indicated during checkout or on a dedicated “Shipping & Delivery” page.

6.2. Timeframes

Delivery timeframes are estimates and are not guaranteed. They may be affected by logistics constraints, public holidays, peak seasons or force majeure events. Alfrensia will use reasonable efforts to ensure timely delivery.

6.3. User Responsibility

You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address and a valid phone number. If delivery fails due to incorrect information or repeated inability to reach you, Alfrensia may:

  • Charge you for actual shipping/return costs; and/or
  • Cancel the order and refund any prepaid amounts after deducting shipping costs, without prejudice to your statutory rights in case of defective or non-conforming products.

6.4. Inspection

Upon delivery, you are requested to inspect the shipment visibly (packaging integrity, number of items, model) and to notify the courier and/or Alfrensia immediately of any shortage or apparent damage so that it can be recorded and handled properly.

7. Returns, Exchanges and Refunds

Alfrensia applies the mandatory rights granted to consumers under Consumer Protection Law No. 181 of 2018 and its Executive Regulations to all distance and online sales.

7.2. Right of withdrawal within 14 days (no reason)

7.2.1. The consumer has the right to withdraw from the distance contract and to return or exchange products within 14 days from the date of receipt, without giving any reason, provided that:

  • The product is in its original condition as received, unused and not installed (for hardware parts), and
  • Original packaging, seals, labels, accessories and manuals are intact, and
  • The product is not among the categories excluded by law from the right of withdrawal (e.g. custom‑made items produced to the consumer’s specification, software or digital codes once activated, certain personal/hygiene products that cannot be reused).

7.2.2. In such cases, Alfrensia will refund the product price within a reasonable period not exceeding 7 working days from the date of receiving and inspecting the returned product, using the same payment method where possible. Shipping costs may be deducted if the withdrawal is not due to an error by Alfrensia.

7.3. Defective, non-conforming or unfit products – 30 days

7.3.1. If, within 30 days from the date of receipt, the product:

  • Shows a manufacturing defect,
  • Does not conform to the specifications or description displayed on the Website, or
  • Is not fit for the purpose for which such products are normally used or the purpose agreed with the consumer,

then the consumer is entitled to return or exchange the product.

7.3.2. In such cases, Alfrensia will bear all actual shipping and inspection costs and will, at the consumer’s choice and subject to technical assessment:

  • Replace the product with an identical, defect‑free product (if available), or
  • Replace it with an equivalent product of similar specifications and value if the exact model is unavailable, or
  • Refund the full price paid without deduction, particularly if repair or replacement is impossible or would cause disproportionate delay or inconvenience to the consumer.

7.4. Durable goods and computer hardware warranty

7.4.1. Computers, laptops, monitors and PC hardware components (processors, motherboards, RAM, graphics cards, power supplies, etc.) are considered durable goods under the Consumer Protection Law and must be warranted against manufacturing defects for at least two years, unless the manufacturer provides a longer warranty.

7.4.2. Under the applicable warranty, and subject to the manufacturer’s/service center report, the consumer may be entitled to repair, replacement or refund, depending on the nature of the defect, its repetition and the possibility of repair, without bearing costs related to repairing manufacturing defects.

7.4.3. The warranty does not cover damage resulting from misuse, improper installation, operation under unsuitable electrical conditions, physical damage (breakage, burning), removal of warranty stickers or unauthorized modifications not carried out by the manufacturer or an authorized service center.

7.5. Exclusions from return and exchange

Return/exchange may be refused in the following cases where permitted by law:

  • Products that cannot be returned to their original condition due to their nature (e.g. already‑activated digital software keys, opened licensed software where the seal is broken, or personal/hygiene items once opened).
  • Products used or installed in a way that prevents their resale as new, in cases of withdrawal without defect within the 14‑day period.
  • Products where damage or defect is clearly due to consumer misuse, negligence or tampering.

7.6. Return and exchange procedure

7.6.1. To request a return or exchange, the consumer should:

  • Submit a request through their account on the Website (Return/Exchange Request form) indicating order number, product, reason and attaching photos/videos where applicable, or
  • Contact Alfrensia customer service via email or phone/WhatsApp as published on the Website.

7.6.2. Alfrensia may request supporting evidence such as invoice, electronic order confirmation or payment proof before processing the request.

8. Invoices, Tax and Electronic Invoicing

8.1. Issuance

For each completed sale, Alfrensia will issue a tax/electronic invoice containing the mandatory data required by Egyptian Consumer Protection Law and VAT legislation (supplier details, consumer details where available, product description, price, tax, date, and method of payment).

8.2. Evidence

The consumer is entitled to receive a copy of the invoice in electronic or printed form. The invoice, order number or payment proof serves as evidence of purchase for exercising return, exchange and warranty rights.
