- Compute capacity: 32 Cores and 64 Threads for workloads that can use parallel CPU processing.
- Clock speeds: 4.0GHz base and up to 5.4GHz maximum boost.
- Cache: 32MB L2 cache and 128MB L3 cache.
- Workstation platform: sTR5 socket, eight-channel DDR5 RDIMM memory and PCIe 5.0 connectivity.
- Power and cooling: 350W default TDP; the processor listing does not include a thermal solution.
Who Should Consider This Processor?
This processor is intended for workstation builds where the software and workload can make use of high core counts, such as CPU rendering, engineering simulation, compilation or other heavily threaded professional tasks. The best choice depends on the applications being used; core count alone does not predict performance in every program.
For general-purpose office PCs or gaming-focused systems, a workstation platform may be unnecessary. Confirm your software requirements and total platform budget before choosing this class of CPU.
