At a height of only 37mm (with fan), the NH-L9i-17xx is perfect for extremely slim cases. Its super-low profile is achieved through a slim 23mm heatsink and the NF-A9x14 low-profile fan, which measures only 14mm in thickness. This compact design ensures it fits into builds with minimal CPU cooler clearance.

100% RAM and PCIe Compatibility:

The NH-L9i-17xx features a 95x95mm footprint. This complies exactly with the Intel LGA1700 and LGA1851 socket keep-out zone. Therefore, it avoids interference with VRM heatsinks and does not overhang RAM slots, ensuring full compatibility with tall memory modules. Furthermore, its compact footprint provides easy access to near-socket connectors on tightly packed mini-ITX motherboards, ensuring 100% compatibility with PCIe cards.

Highly Optimized NF-A9x14 PWM Fan:

The cooler includes a highly optimized NF-A9x14 PWM premium fan. This fan features Noctua’s proprietary AAO frame and sophisticated aerodynamic design measures. It supports PWM for fully automatic speed control, allowing the NH-L9i-17xx to run remarkably quietly. The fan’s maximum rotational speed is 2500 RPM, which reduces to 1800 RPM with the included Low-Noise Adaptor (L.N.A.). This enables near-silent setups for suitable CPUs.

Superior Thermal Interface and Low Noise:

The heatsink’s copper base and heat-pipes are soldered to the aluminum cooling fins. This guarantees a superior thermal interface that maintains performance over many years. The fan’s maximum acoustical noise is 23.6 dB(A), further reducing to 14.8 dB(A) with the L.N.A., ensuring very quiet operation. It delivers an airflow of up to 57.5 m³/h and a static pressure of 2.47 mm-H2O.
